18/06/2010 - Big Num Are Back!

Not that we really went anywhere but as far as the band is concerned, 2010 starts here! New songs, new album, new website... the list goes on.

The band's debut album 'From Monkey Came Man, From Man Came Me' is set for release on 05/07/10. You will be able to order physical copies from our online store, or alternativley download the digital version from a host of online download companies and retailers, including iTunes, Napster, Spotify, Amazon, Sky, Myspace, Play.com, plus many more. Please see Music section for more details.

The album was recorded at the Ranch Production House. The band are delighted with the fantastic job done by Geoff Swan and Neil Kennedy and would highly recommend Ranch Productions to any bands looking to record in the future. They run two studios in a great location near Southampton, experienced engineers, fantastic array of equipment and excellent value. You can't go wrong.

The album was mastered by the world renowned engineer Jon Astley. Jon is a producer, mastering engineer and singer/songwriter. He has produced for Eric Clapton, Debbie Harry and co-produced The Who's 'Who Are You' album in 1978. Jon has mastered for The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Paul McCartny, Tom Jones, Stereophonics to name a few and has even enjoyed some chart success of his own in the late 80's.

Loads of new photos uploaded for 2010, all in high resolution and bigger than before! There are some album promo pics from the band's photoshoot with Stuart Nicholls in March. See the album here Photos. Stu has an impressive portfolio and has worked with many top bands in the past, including album artwork for The Subways and Biffy Clyro. It is definitely worth checking his work out Stunphoto.
